Unfortunately, due to scheduling, we only had about twenty minutes to shoot with Keegan in the grey fluid dress, and during difficult lighting, but we made it work! Had some fun with color overlays too.

Guess who was finally shooting fashion again! Had a great 8-hour shoot over at the Niche office, working with an awesomely talented group. Jaclyn, a talented designer, recent UH graduate, and fellow Maui girl, made those two amazing dresses herself! There’s more to come that day, so stay tuned!

Ode to Vintage Hawaii

And that plane was really there! We were shooting near the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base, and the huge military planes kept coming in, which, combined with the parasol, were really reminiscent of the WWII Hawaii era. Romanticized, of course.
