We often brag that her only downside is the excessive amounts of white fur that plague our house and wardrobes (wearing our photographer-blacks means lint rollers are kept everywhere!), because she stays very clean on her own, despite being a white dog. However, there are times when she manages to somehow get herself dirty enough to require a bath, and so it’s off to the laundry room sink for her! Here are photos from today’s bath time, and I hope they amuse you as much as they amuse me – my dog makes the best expressions!

Both my grandpas, as well as my great-uncle, are all interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, where, this year, Hawaii’s F-22s will fly in the missing man formation during the Veteran’s Day ceremony.  Hope those guys enjoy the show! :)

It can almost be treated as a workshop where we all share techniques and ideas.  The most recent of these tweetups was for photographer Marc Orbito and family.  There were around 5-6 photographers there at Kakaako Waterfront Park, but I somehow managed to avoid catching them in my shots!

Jonathan (light blue overshirt) is one of my oldest friends and currently working in New York City, and I’ve been photographing his sister Jen and her two little boys for the past couple years now. It’s crazy how big they’ve gotten! This time, we did a sunset beach shoot at Kamaole Beach Park on Maui.

As you can tell from the photos, we all had a great time! Photographing families with young kids is still one of my favorite things to do.

I’m on the left, my dad is on the right. 40 years between these two photos.  Both are retouched by the original photographers, and not by me.  Been spending the day sorting through family photographs and deciding which should be scanned.  Came across a ton of baby photos of my brother and I, so I’ll probably post a few of those too!

Now I just need my mom‘s senior photo, and I’ve got my set!
